What is a cell?
Cells are the building blocks for all living things on this earth. In fact, the human body have trillions of compacted cells in their body, These cells provide structures to the body, and takes in nutrition from the food, and then convert those nutrients into energy.

Here are a few types of cells and what they are.

- Erythrocyte (red blood cell)
- Megakaryocyte (platelet precursor)
- Monocyte (white blood cell)
- Connective tissue macrophage (various types)
- Epidermal Langerhans cell.
- Osteoclast (in bone)
- Dendritic cell (in lymphoid tissues)
- Microglial cell (in central nervous system)
What is the difference between plant and animal cells
Though their are many similarities to both plant and animal cells, the only differences between plant and animal cells are in a few additional structures found in the plant cells. These structures include chloroplasts, the cell wall, and vacuoles.
The different parts of an animal cell
As you can see in this picture below, this is a picture of a basic animal cell. Some of the things listed in the picture are the Cell membrane, Nucleus, Vacuole, lysosome, Etc.
