This is a picture I drew of a Disc Golf Basket for this blog. If you don't know what Disc Golf is, I will tell you.
Disc golf is a sport that started out small in the late 20's But is still growing today. All you really need for disc golf is some discs; a Driver, Midrange, and a Putter(But I will talk about that later on), a basket, and a Disc Golf Park. To begin you will need to throw your driver (the long range disc) off the tee pad, which is your starting point. Then for your second throw you can throw your mid-range, to have an up shot at the basket. Finally for your last throw, you will get your putter and try and put it in the basket. You will have to repeat that process about 18 times, depending on how many holes there are.
Now, your main goal in playing disc golf is to have the lowest score possible by throwing the least amount of times on each hole. So say you completed the hole in 1 shot, this would be called an ace, and your score would be -2. Or if you you get it in 2 shots you would get -1 and if you got it in three shots you would have the score of 0. But if it takes more than three shots, your score will start going up. Say you got it in four shots, then that would be a bogie and you would get +1.
I started to play disc golf when I was about 9 and loved it since then. I took a long break from it and started to play lots of football. Now I'm starting to play tons and tons of disc golf because I have my very first tournament in October of 2016, and I'm attempting to placing 3rd, 2nd, or even 1st!!!!! In my tournament, I have to go against five people, one of them being my brother.
That is all I have to say for now. Wish me luck in the tournament and I'll post some more about sports in the future. I hope you guys enjoyed my post.
