Intuition Vs. Sensing
Sensing and iNtuition take the second place in the Myers-Briggs 16 personality type indicator. You can only have one of these functions to fill this space, and it helps to show the way you take and give information.
All of the personality types with the sensing function are ESTJ, ESFJ, ESTP, ESFP, ISTJ, ISFJ, ISTP, ISFJ. S's (or Sensors). They are best known for paying attention to physical reality. Sensors notice facts and details, and they learn from their past experiences. Some famous people you might know with sensing in their personality type are George Washington, Michael Jordan, Hillary Clinton, and Theodore Roosevelt.
All of the other personalities have N's. Just like how all the sensor personalities have S's, all the intuitive personalities have N's in the place. People with Intuition in their personality are known to be interested in new possibilities, and they would rather learn by thinking about a problem, and not with hands on experiences. Some famous people with Intuition in their personality are Martin Luther King Jr., Bill Gates, Ellen DeGeneres, and Robin Williams.
Intuitives and Sensors are known to be a great power pair. The reasons why they are good together is because iNtuitives are future orientated, and Sensors looks into to the past. Also, iNtuitives are known to see the big picture, while sensors are known to put in really good detail. That is why they work well together.
People either have sensing or intuition, but we all are known for using both at some point or another. I hope you can spot out the things that both personality's do differently, or spot similar things. I hope you have learned a lot about the Myers Briggs functions, I hope you understood everything that you have read.
