🌻PHOTOSYNTHESIS🌼
A lot of plants are able to make their own food whenever they want it. Only that can be done with a process called Photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is a very interesting process where plants are able to feed themselves using sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water.
The Photosynthesis process all starts from the leaves, inside of the leaves, there are very small cells. Inside of these tiny cells, there is a structure called Chloroplast. This structure, Chloroplast inside contains a green chemical called Chlorophyll. The chemical, Chlorophyll then absorbs energy from the sun, and that energy is used to split water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen. After that process, the oxygen is then released from the leaves out into the atmosphere, and then the hydrogen and carbon dioxide are then used to form glucose, aka food for the plants.
The Photosynthesis process is not only helpful to themselves but is also very helpful for the animals. The animals do not have the ability to create energy themselves by sitting in the sun all day. Because animals cannot make energy themselves they will take full advantage on the things that do. This way, the plants that the animals eat, will give them energy. If photosynthesis was not a thing there would be no more animals on this earth because they would not receive any energy because the plants that they eat gave them no energy.
Not only for the animals, but also for the humans is photosynthesis very helpful in many ways. A couple of them being that Photosynthesis creates clean air for us humans to breath, it also allows plants to grow, which feeds, us humans, and it also produces oxygen which is the gas that we need ti live.
Photosynthesis is a very important cycle for the plants, animals, and us humans. It is very important that we know this kind of stuff because Photosynthesis is very important to us humans, without Photosynthesis, we could not eat plants and we could not breathe cause the plants breathe out oxygen and gasses that us humans need in order to be alive. Photosynthesis is a very interesting and cool thing to learn about.
