The Ocean Food Chain

     The Ocean Food Chain is a very important cycle for the animals that live in it, but how do the little fish survive being lunch by the bigger predators? The smaller fish and sea animals eat plankton or other little fish. These little fish are in the category called forage fish. To help defend themselves from bigger predators such as sharks and whales, they have natural defenses. one of their defenses are swimming in large groups called schools. Doing this helps them be a single target from their predators.
