What does Gulliver teach us about war?
While reading the book, Gulliver's Travels, you start to understand what Gulliver thinks and feels about all the war going on while he is visiting mystery islands and places. I found while reading this book that Gulliver found the wars going on quite pointless with little to no reason. Take in for example Blefuscu and Lilliput's dispute on how you should crack eggs, which seems quite pointless to Gulliver. You see, its these types of things that Gulliver can't quite understand, and I think that's why Johnathan Swift expresses his thought on how silly wars can be by creating wars like this in his book.
