TULIP: Perseverance of the Saints

TULIP: Perseverance of the Saints

Yesterday, my family and I watched the last and final video of R.C. Sproul's definitions about the five main points of Calvinism. This last episode was all about Perseverance of the Saints. From what I learned from the video, Perseverance of the Saints is when God calls and or elects someone, he can never lose them. Once God calls you from the very beginning, you will sometime in your life live and dedicate your life for Christ.

If someone seems like they live for Christ and even go on mission trips and claim that they are Christian, then one day ditch the religion and say they are not Christian, it would seem like God lost someone he elected, right? But no, because of this situation, they were never elected in the first place, they just had little sprouts of Christianity. I am very thankful and blessed to have been apart of this five-part section of the five main parts of Calvinism. This definitely helped me understand more of what I believe.
