👮Police Officer👮
A police officer is a very exciting, intense, and a very dangerous job. Being a Police Officer, you at least need a high school diploma. A bachelor's degree is optional but is highly recommended. There is one more educational part that you must have in order to become a police officer. You have to attend a police academy.
In the Police academy, the leaders, or the Police Academy trainers, will put everyone through rough police tests and drills. One of the most painful parts about Police Academy is probably getting sprayed in your face with pepper spray. They do this to you so you so that you know how it feels and you don't over use it on other people. Depending on where you take Police Academy, it could take 21 weeks to 6 months to complete.
The average salary for a police officer is around $55,000-$60,000 every year. In Seattle, where I would prefer to work at, the salary can range from $69,000- $80,000 per year. Sometimes your pay can increase by promotions or new positions of your job, but in the end, it will have a rewarding pay.
The average years that a police officer works is about 15-20 years. Police officers when retired make about $58,000 dollars a year, not including an annual supplement of about $12,000 dollars. Being a police officer takes a lot of responsibility and skill. In conclusion, the job, Police Officer is not only important to people but is definitely important to the world.
In the Myers-Briggs Typing system, there are recommended jobs that best fit your personality type. I, being an ISTP, there were quite a few jobs on this list. Some of those jobs are a detective, military, police officer, engineer, mechanic, etc. One of my favorite jobs on the list was the job of a Police Officer.
